So your looking for a custom commission? Great! Here's some things you'll need to know.
Commissions offered
Diorama pieces - A felted creature surrounded by soft sculpture plants, embroidery and beaded wilderness encased in a glass cloche set on an oak wood base
Starting from £225
Framed pieces - Wall mounted or free standing framed dioramas of moths & butterflies. Other creatures are welcome for discussion.
Starting from £75
Additional charges will occur for multiple components within one display or multiple individual pieces (although this will not mean the price will be doubled, we will send you a breakdown cost sheet before confirming any and all commissions.
Additional Information
- We welcome all commission enquiries and aim to reply within 5 working days.
- Please note, we will reply with an estimated time when we can get started on your commission.
- Once the agreed work period has been agreed upon, we will then send you a commission fee breakdown (the price of your commission) ask for any photos, and lastly a commission agreement contract.
- We will require a deposit which will be 30% of the overall charge, and the rest to be paid once the commission is completed.
- We do not take kindly to threats or abusive language, so please keep in mind we may cancel your commission and keep your deposit. Please read your contract thoroughly.
- We may ask for your permission to post images of your commission on our social media page, to help promote our services. PLEASE NOTE, you do not have to agree to this we will take no offence and understand something are surprises. If the commission is a gift and you are happy for us to post, we will gladly agree on a date to post so you can still have the element of surprise!
- We ask for 2 weeks minimum to complete your order, as we still work a full-time job and do commissions around this. A estimated time scale will be given to you during the brainstorming period.
- All commissions will be branded with the Sowpig Art logo, and a certificate of Authenticity will also be issued.
